Hillside Environmental Services and Infinitas Design, both leaders in their fields, have joined forces to create Hillside Infinitas Ltd. This powerful union, now known as HI Group, signifies a new era of sustainable solutions. Combining deep expertise and innovative strategies, we are dedicated to driving impactful environmental change and meeting today’s sustainability challenges.

Since its founding in 2014, Hillside Environmental Services has established itself as a leader in climate change initiatives. Initially supporting major consultants and technology providers, Hillside built its expertise through significant projects like the Nottingham City Council Heat Network and NHS Property Services estate decarbonisation. By 2020, Hillside shifted to directly supporting clients, achieving remarkable successes in the Further Education sector by helping over 35 institutions with net zero strategies and energy retrofits.

Infinitas Design, also founded in 2014, has specialised in creating low carbon heating systems, particularly heat pumps and heat networks. With a strong foundation in engineering, Infinitas has addressed a critical gap in the renewable heat sector, assisting clients in reducing fossil fuel dependency. Noteworthy projects include the Swaffham Prior heat pump district heat network and the Eden Project’s geothermal heat network, demonstrating their commitment to making heat pump technology accessible and effective through education and precise application.

The collaboration between Hillside Environmental Services and Infinitas Design began in 2014, leveraging Hillside’s project acquisition strengths and Infinitas’s engineering expertise. This successful partnership, driven by a shared vision for sustainable growth, naturally led to the establishment of a new company, Hillside Infinitas Ltd. Now operating as HI Group, the new alliance amplifies their capabilities, broadens their project scope, and solidifies their commitment to delivering comprehensive low-carbon solutions.
